Return policy

  • The Mounties offer returns for store credit and exchange within 30 days of delivery. We do not provide refunds for change of mind or change of size returns.

Can I return for a refund?

  • As per our returns policy we do not provide monetary refunds on change of mind or size returns, unless a product is deemed faulty and a genuine manufacturer fault as approved by our team.
  • If the product return is a result of change of mind or size return and/or no longer wanted a tavern voucher may be granted to the value of the products, subject to whether said products fit our return policy. Contact customer service to discuss further.

Wrong Size

  • All customers are eligible to return their unworn Mounties merch for exchange withing 30 days of delivery.
  • Want to swap for a different size? Contact our customer service team to confirm your desired size is available, if your size is unavailable we would recommend opting to return for a store credit or tavern voucher. They will be sent out once we receive the product has been returned.

Return fee

  • Customers will be require to pay for their return postage or they can arrange a day/time to return the item directly to the tavern, to do so customer service must be contacted prior to make said arrangements.

Faulty item

  • We’re so sorry you’ve received a faulty item.
  • Please email our customer service team to arrange a return. You will need to provide clear photos showcasing the fault as well as a detailed explanation of the fault.
  • You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major fault. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be acceptable quality (minor fault) and the fault does not amount to a major failure.
  • Without limiting the effect of the Australian Consumer Law, where you have purchased a product from us that:
  • Is faulty, unsafe, has a defect, or is not of acceptable quality, appearance or finish;
  • It is not fit for its intended purpose;
  • Does not match the product image or description;
  • Or we are otherwise legally obligated to accept a return of the product under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law, we will accept returns and provide you with an exchange, repair, credit note, tavern voucher or refund (at your election) using your original payment method. However, we reserve the right not to offer a credit note, tavern voucher, exchange or refund when the goods have become of unacceptable quality as a result of your misuse, damage, neglect or general wear.
  • Faulty products may we returned withing a reasonable timeframe (length of which may depend on the circumstances) subject to proof of purchase.
  • We will cover the packaging and post costs associated with your returning of a faulty product. However, you are liable for any deliver costs if we reasonably and fairly determine that the returned product does not meet the criteria for being a faulty product. Always retain your product and do not dispose of the item so we can assess your claim.
  • We ask that you please consider the environment before writing off an item with a minor fault which does not effect wear.
  • Issues that are neither minor nor major include: fair wear and tear alone, change of mind (example: the consumer no longer likes the colour or design of a clothing item) a hidden defect was specifically drawn to the consumers attention prior to purchase. A defect due to abnormal use (example: clothing items in which the washing label instructions have not been followed or have visibly rubbed against an abrasive surface)

 Did you remove the tags?

  • Please contact our customer service team to determine if the item is still eligible for returns.

Why your item may not eligible for a return:

  • FINAL SALE; your item is marked down by 40% of more and/or is a final sale
  • Your item is a Mounties hat or bandanna – we do not accept these as a return due to hygienic reasons
  • Your item has been worn and/or washed, in is bad condition, is unsalable or does not meet our return conditions
  • Your order was delivered more than 30 days ago
  • You’ve supplied the incorrect order number, email address or details

Exclusions from return policy

  • Change of mind items that exceed 30 days of delivery date
  • Change of mind items that have been worn, washed or marked by customer
  • Products marked down by 40% or more are final sales and will not be eligible for return
  • Mounties headwear and bandanas are not eligible for returns and will not be accepted

My order was wrong

  • Please email our customer service team with photos of the incorrect item, from here we will be able to provide you with some options to get this rectified for you.
